De Mi Tierra is a clean and waterless skincare line that pays tribute to traditional Mexican skincare rituals. We are taking skincare back to basics using only earth-made ingredients that are indigenous to Latin America.
Founded in 2018 as a response to the beauty industry’s cultural void, De Mi Tierra is inspired by the profound healing practices handed down by our ancestors, transcending conventional boundaries to champion holistic skincare and wellness.
Here, each individual is not just a consumer but a cherished part of a narrative—seen, valued, and authentically represented, with a special focus on empowering Latinas.
Our formulations are a symphony of indigenous ingredients, weaving together the potent essences of cactus, mango, yucca, avocado, hibiscus, and revered Mexican botanicals.
These ingredients, celebrated for their healing, nourishing, and rejuvenating properties, encapsulate the spirit of generations past and present, fusing ancient wisdom with modern ingenuity to deliver a unique skincare experience.

Meet Evelia, Founder of De Mi Tierra
After working in the beauty industry for over a decade, I realized that there was a need for safe clean skincare that honored our roots and our story. De Mi Tierra is building a space in the beauty industry for the next generation of Latinas, one of the largest underrepresented and underserved minority groups in the country. We believe in the power of authenticity and De Mi Tierra is here to demand a culturally relevant space in beauty… loud and proud.

Working in the beauty industry made me quickly realize that it’s largely unregulated and the manufacturing practices used in the U.S. are lacking. I am on a mission to deliver natural and effective skincare to one of the largest consumers of beauty products…Latina women.
Our products are handmade in small batches and we only use earth-made ingredients like nopal, mango, avocado, coconut, hibiscus, and many more that can be found throughout Latin America. Our skincare products are intentionally created to activate nature’s healing potential, working with nature to nourish and support radiant healthy skin. De Mi Tierra is here to celebrate the beauty of Latin-American ingredients. Using these natural ingredients have a dual effect…they are best for our bodies and they also allow us to reconnect to nature and to our heritage.

I took a chance on myself over six years ago and I started De Mi Tierra out of my home studio I have successfully built it into a successful business, gaining recognition from several media outlets like Univision, Chicago Tribune, and more.

When I’m not busy trying to build a beauty empire, you’ll often find me chasing after my three beautiful daughters while ensuring that I don’t forget my cafecito on the stove.
