Organic unrefined Coconut oil is naturally antibacterial, anti-fungal and is an amazing moisturizer. Organic Arrowroot powder has been used for thousands of years for its soothing properties, and it works with our deodorant to help keep you naturally dry and odor free! Natural aluminum free baking soda is added to our regular deodorants to help neutralize odor, plus organic essential oils are infused to provide cleansing and purifying benefits to your underarms!

First time making the switch to a natural deodorant?  We recommend starting with our Sensitive, Baking Soda Free deodorant.
 
Our Baking Soda Free deodorant is a great place to start if this is your first time switching to a natural deodorant.  Baking Soda is an awesome key ingredient that is found in our regular deodorant that deodorizes and helps fight odor, however it can also be alkaline and may react to your body’s natural pH levels. Since everyone's body chemistry is different, this may cause some people to experience irritation. Our baking soda free deodorant contains magnesium hydroxide which helps deodorize and fight odor (and it’s a much needed supplement for your body too!)
 
DETOX PERIOD
 
While most people transition seamlessly to our natural deodorant, some people may experience a detox period. This is completely normal and natural!  Don’t give up! It’s your body’s way of saying “Get this fake stuff out of me!”  Traditional deodorants and antiperspirants contain toxic ingredients like Aluminum, synthetic preservatives and fragrances that literally plug your sweat glands to stop perspiration.  While the body is detoxing (and finally breathing...yay!), there may be some wetness and odor, but reapplying our deodorant and giving your underarms some extra TLC will get you through.  
 
Storage and Shelf Life:
 
Because De Mi Tierra products are handcrafted without artificial preservatives, please store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for maximum longevity. Store at room temperature.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Because we do NOT use any preservatives or synthetic binding ingredients, our deodorants may melt in transit during warm climates.  This will affect the consistency of the product, but it will not affect the quality. If this happens during transit, No worries! You still can use the deodorant  if melted! (Yay!) Simply place it in the refrigerator to solidify, and keep it at room temperature afterwards. This product can not be refunded or exchanged if it melts.
